Dollar Tree Stores, the nation’s largest $1 price point leader has opportunities for a Field Recruiter for the West Coast to be based in Sacramento, Stockton, Oakland, San Jose or any Bay city. Dollar Tree operates over 3100 stores in 48 states through out the country and needs someone to help support our rapid growth.General Duties:
This position reports to the Zone Human Resources Director (ZHRD) who has overall responsibility for supporting all HR needs within their zone of coverage

To maintain proper recruitment and staffing support & direction in all areas of field hiringPrimary Responsibilities:
Handle recruitment and selection of Store Management and Associate Management candidates in new and opportunity markets. Field Recruiters will act as a supplement to DM recruiting efforts, not a replacement for such DM hiring efforts - Field Recruiters will have full hiring authority when in a market.

Support and coordinate the recruitment and selection of District Management staff

Coordinate all scheduling requests and needs with the Zone Human Resources Director (ZHRD)

Partner with ZHRD to ensure that all sourcing of candidates and advertising is properly handled

Handle all management candidate sourcing and research via all internet programs used by the company- This will involve sourcing candidates for assigned regions of their zone

Maintain knowledge of current human resource and benefit trends, laws, governmental compliance, company policies, as well as all company recruitment & hiring programs and standards

Continuously plan & review new store openings with ZHRD to ensure that adequate staffing, particularly management level, is in place

Continuously source candidates in support of company growth needsOther Responsibilities:
Provide support where necessary in new stores with hourly Associate staffing

Selectively provide support & training for DM’s in new and challenging markets through direct recruitment efforts

Field Recruiters are to spend at least one day per quarter working in a store, partnering with the Store Manager, to ensure they maintain a working knowledge of what is expected from our Store Management teams

Assist with HR special projects/assignments as neededMinimum Requirements:

At least 3 years prior recruiting experience - retail management preferred

Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time

Strong productivity and time management ability

Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
