Job Description:
The Epic Rx Consultant will perform current state, future state and gap analysis of a major pharmacy system and follow best practices in implementing and integrating Eric Rx with other Epic Systems’ modules and third-party applications. The Epic Rx Consultant will gather and document technical and user requirements, perform business and workflow analysis, and design, build and validate the Epic Rx module to ensure compliance with implantation best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Required Experience and Education:The Epic Rx Consultant will possess expert and current knowledge of pharmacy systems, automated pharmacy records and Epic Rx. Previous experience implementing and supporting EpicRx for automating pharmacy records system is required. Certification in Epic Rx is also required.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, between both the customer and all levels within the organization. Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs are also required. Must be energetic and passionate about patient management systems and possess a positive “can do” attitude.
Required Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Business Administration or equivalent degree is required. Certification in Epic Rx is also required.ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS EPICRX EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
