REQUIREMENTS
Our mission, goals, and success have resulted in recent geographic expansion to the Western PA area. One of our newest offices located in the Cranberry Township, PA area is currently filling open positions to service existing contracts and to position the company for long-term, regional growth. Sovereign has immediate openings for Environmental Technicians (0-5 yrs. exp.), Environmental Scientists (2-5 yrs. exp.), Geologists/Hydrogeologists (3-5 yrs exp.), Engineers (3-8 yrs. exp.), and Project Managers (5-10 yrs. exp.).Prior experience with petroleum remediation sites, PADEP Act 2 and CAP Regulations are preferred. Position responsibilities will be commensurate with experience and include a variety of the following: field data collection, remedial systems operation & maintenance, soil & groundwater sampling, drilling supervision, remedial feasibility testing, aquifer testing, data analysis & management, groundwater modeling, risk evaluations, ecological assessments, technical report preparation, technical supervision, and regulatory agency & client interaction.All positions will include field and office tasks as workloads, client and project requirements dictate. Current OSHA HazWOper training is preferred. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, proficiency with MS Office products and maintain a valid driver's license. A pre-employment physical in accordance with applicable company policy will also be required. Minimum education requirements are a 4-year college degree. A Pennsylvania Professional license (PG or PE) will be beneficial, and may be required for certain positions.Salary will be commensurate with experience.
