Environmental Health & Safety Engineer

Our uniquely qualified staff of Environmental Health & Safety Engineers serves our clients by addressing both routine and complex compliance issues involving national, state, and local environmental regulations (i.e., Hazardous Materials & Hazardous Waste, OSHA, DOT and EPA). These positions involve effectively managing client relationships and extensive field work providing on-site, dealer specific environmental and safety compliance services in an assigned territory on a quarterly basis.

KPA is expanding its operations throughout the United States and as a result is currently recruiting Engineers for the Los Angeles area as well as San Francisco, Phoenix, Chicago, Corpus Christi or Shreveport, northern New Jersey, Washington DC, Orlando and West Palm Beach. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Studies or related disciplines. Background in facility audits, customer service and employee training as well as excellent oral and written communication skills necessary. Experience preparing various compliance plans (i.e., Phase 1 Environmental Assessments, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans) a definite plus. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently are critical to employee success. Los Angeles area position has some periodic overnight travel required. Other locations may require more extensive travel.
