Environmental Engineer/Scientist (CB-4)

CRA has an immediate opening for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist. We offer a compensation package fully commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
- B.Sc., preferably in environmental engineering, with 0-3 years experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and technical writing ability.
- Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Self starter, flexible, team player, willing & able to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimum supervision.
- Previous related experience and/or completion of OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training are considered assets.

Duties:
- Coordinate and implement soil and groundwater sampling programs.
- Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, Baseline Environmental Assessments (BEAs), and other associated due diligence activities as assigned.
- Assist with coordination of nationwide commercial property assessment program.
- Perform contractor liaison and oversight.
- Prepare work plans, data summaries, draft technical reports, and correspondence for internal review.
- Familiarity with Michigan Act 451 considered an asset.
