Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Scientist
Provide support to project managers in management of both private and public sector clients/projects
Lead compliance audits, site investigations, remedial actions, including subcontractors
Lead the preparation of proposals, health & safety plans, work plans, investigation reports, remediation reports, construction completion reports
Understand and meet project scopes of work, schedules and budgets
Perform regulatory agency record reviews, literature reviews, site reconnaissance and documentation in support of project objectives
Learn company methods, practices, and procedures
Daytime travel and overnight (up to a week or more) travel required, as needed
Overtime required, as needed
Have and maintain a valid TN driver’s license
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to frequently lift 35 pounds
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in hazardous waste management, environmental remediation, and environmental compliance.
BS in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field. MS will count as 1 year of experience requirement.
Extensive experience and working knowledge with Tennessee Regulations, TSCA, RCRA and 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with management, staff, and clients.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and be able to work at a desk and use computers on a regular basis.
Able to work as part of a team, under general supervision.
