Entry Level Human Resources Recruiter

Coordinates and/or administers various human resource functions such as recruitment and selection, employee relations, training and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Coordinate and administer the exempt and non-exempt recruitment and selection system within the division in a timely and cost effective manner and ensure regulatory compliance.
•Assist in the interpretation and administration of company policies and guidelines and will advise and counsel others in equitable application.
•Maintain constant and effective involvement in employee relations activities taking a leadership role as appropriate.
•Coordinate for and/or assist in the training of exempt employees.
•Assist in the compilation and/or preparation of confidential reports, statistics, graphs and/or files for the Human Resource function.
•Plan, evaluate, research and/or recommend systemic and/or process improvements for the Human Resource function.
•Submit periodic reports on assigned topics to supervisor.
•Maintain effective safety and health awareness through program activity and training.
•Continually develop positive employee relations climate focusing on high commitment, teamwork, and effective communication.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a related discipline
•Excellent reading, writing, and quantitative skills.
•Ability to review printed documents.
•Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (ex: in the printed word).
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to communicate with large groups of people.
•Excellent analytical skills.
•Demonstrated organizational skills.
•Computer skills (PC) and related software.
•Problem solving skills.
•Up to 50% overnight travel annually.
•Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a minimal amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc. Generally involves sitting most of the time.
