Position: Entry Level Compensation Analyst

Qualifications
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
Ability to identify and solve problems creatively.
Strong written, verbal and quantitative skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
Prefer Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, or related fields with one to three year’s compensation or related experience and/or strong working knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis and presentation and creative problem solving.

Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical and analytical support to consultants in the compensation practice. We have a fast moving pace with quick turnaround time for client deliverables, in an environment of continuous learning. We are experiencing high revenue growth in a rapidly growing practice. The ideal candidate will be able to manage small repeat or update projects and portions of larger projects with minimal guidance or supervision and support the senior consultants on the larger projects.

ResponsibilitiesMarket Analysis
Market pricing of jobs and preparing recommendations for compensation
Benchmarking annual incentive plan and long-term incentive plan design and practice
Conducting proxy studies and analysis of other publicly available data sources
Conducting surveys of executive compensation issues

Financial Analysis
Modeling financial impact of compensation plans and programs
Conducting statistical analysis of compensation data

Presentations and Marketing
Preparing exhibits, summaries and recommendations for client reports
Supporting direct marketing activities (proposals)
Research and writing presentations for external seminars.
