Jones Edmunds has an immediate opening for an engineer graduate in their Gainesville or Tampa, Florida offices. The immediate openings are for qualified individuals with the desire for technical growth and diversity as well as for team members interested in developing long-term career opportunities with a privately owned firm. The individual will work directly with experienced professionals in civil and environmental engineering. Engineer will develop skills to support the design and permitting of solid waste disposal facilities, waste-to-energy plants, transfer stations, or various other civil engineering projects. Jones Edmunds is a multi-discipline firm and offers individuals with the opportunity to work with professionals in other technical fields to expand their technical diversity.
A Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferable with a civil or environmental engineering degree. Registration or certification as an Engineer Intern preferred. Candidate should be able obtain EI certification within one year of employment. Experience with stormwater modeling, geotechnical software, or AutoCAD a plus. 0 to 3 years of professional engineering experience desired.
