Engagement Manager
ARS Direct is currently searching for and Engagement Manager for their client in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity to join a fastly growing company.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
To expertly plan and manage client projects to achieve desired results. This includes balancing client specifications for quality, cost, and time with resource allocations to meet project objectives. To manage the research, design, development and measurement of customized training system solutions for client organizations. To proactively plan, track, and manage a project’s activities to achieve time, cost, and quality performance objectives for a given scope of work while using resources efficiently and effectively. Also, responsible for proactive client and team communication.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Experience/
Environment:5 plus years of experience in managing large complex learning projects. Experience with linking learning to HR systems a plus.
Education:Masters Degree in instructional design or technology, business administration, or OD related field.
Technical Skills:Research design, data gathering, analysis and feedback skills; design of training systems, products, protocols and events; materials development, with very strong writing skills including cases, non-print development a plus; participant content teaching, small and large group facilitation, presentation. Expertise in leadership development, performance management, change management, organization effectiveness/corporate culture. Significant knowledge of Federal government environment, trends and issues. Strong project management and financial skills. Computer skills - word processing (Word), financial spreadsheets (Excel), and project planning (a.k.a. Microsoft Project) software packages
Selling Skills:Proposal preparation, some presentation to mid and senior level clients; team selling;
Managerial Skills:Maintain superb client relationships and strong internal team relationships.
Professional Skills:Strong communication skills and presence, intellectual, curiosity and love of learning, high energy level, self-motivated and team player/leader, passion for work, pioneering spirit.
Very strong interpersonal skills; independent; team player; very strong initiative and follow-through; perceptive; observant; intuitive. Problem-solving skills, facilitation of group and conflict situations.
Federal experience or recent experience working with the Federal government a big plus.
