Electrical project coordinator for Healtcare projects. Responsible for preparation of construction documents for electrical systems design of buildings including drawings, specifications and reports. Perform electrical design assignments with general instruction from the Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager. Works directly with owners to develop recommendations. Reviews electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines. Writes/edits electrical specifications, selects equipment and electrical devices. May supervise work of Electrical CAD Technicians and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines. REQUIREMENTS
6-8 years experience designing electrical lighting, power and systems for building projects preferred, but recent graduates will be considered. Experience in commercial or institutional facilities. Healthcare, Science & Technology . Strong computer skills (AutoCAD and electrical design software) a plus. Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred.
