AA/EOE/DFWPJones Edmunds is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to serve as the Electrical Department Manager in our Jacksonville office. This position supervises all department staff and manages all departmental activities to execute project work ensuring department goals are met. The successful candidate will have 6+ years of progressively responsible design and supervisory experience in the field of consulting engineering serving public electric utilities. Project management and electric utility design experience are required to provide technical expertise in the areas of electric utility planning, overhead and underground electrical transmission and distribution, substation/switching stations, and protective relaying and controls. The Department Manager will also oversee the effective application of company quality assurance/quality control procedures to assure that QA/QC reviews are performed during development and at the completion of permitting and design documents. Position also requires management and mentoring of junior staff, client management, marketing support, project engineering and project management. B.S. in Electrical Engineering required and 6 + years experience. M.S. in an applicable field preferred. Florida PE required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months through reciprocity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
REQUIREMENTS
