EEO ADR Counselor - Informal

SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: Client's Informal/Alternative Resolutions to Conflict (ARC) Division assists employees in: (1) resolving their EEO issues, (2) determining whether there is a more appropriate forum than the EEO complaint process, or (3) initiating the EEO pre-complaint process. Upon receipt of the completed EEO package, ARC identifies whether the employee expressed interest in pursuing alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and assesses if the matter is appropriate for ADR.As its primary need, Client requires contract EEO counselors who meet EEOC training requirements and who can perform EEO counseling services in accordance with Title 29 C.F.R. Part 1614 and EEOC Management Directive 110. A significant objective is to increase the number of cases successfully resolved during the mediation. Counselors must be able to work effectively within Client's transformative model, which places great emphasis on having a conversation, rather than simply following a counseling checklist. Daily Responsibilities Continued Counselors will perform all tasks required once the decision has been made for a case to proceed with traditional counseling rather than ADR, including:Conducting the initial interview;Conducting a limited inquiry into the facts and circumstances of the informal complaint;Engaging in so-called “shuttle negotiation”;Conducting the final interview;Issuing the Notice of Right to File; andCompleting a Counselor’s Report.
