EDI Consultant III

We are looking for an EDI Consultant to provide senior level, expert business and technical services to OneNeck’s customers as part of a Customer Team. Areas of expertise should include Gentran and TLE Software. Knowledge of Unix, AS/400, Baan, JD Edwards or Axapta is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following.
-Performs two or more primary consulting role(s).
-This position is required to provide billable services to OneNeck customers or provide non-billable OneNeck internal project assistance, as required.
-Strictly follows the direction of the Customer Management Team when it comes to providing Customer services.
-Demonstrates a working knowledge, skill and ability in one or more technical or business discipline(s).
-Must be able to design and document solutions for moderate to complex business requirements in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
-Must be able to use analytical skills to quickly identify resolutions to incidents and assist in problem resolution.
-Must serve as a technical lead during Problem Resolution under the direction of a Problem Management Lead.
-Maintains professional demeanor and communications with customers by providing expert customer service and support.
-Provides excellent verbal and written communications with our customers, management, and peers.
-Management and CMT should have confident in this Consultant level leading discussions with customers as it pertains to their area of expertise.
-Adds value and contributes to customer/project initiatives by understanding and anticipating business requirements of the customer.
-Continually adds to his/her knowledge base to eventually obtain significant knowledge in his/her field(s) of expertise.
-Must serve as a knowledge resource for other consultants in their area of expertise.
-Is expected to cross train oneself and cross train others.
-Responsible for customers’ satisfaction with his/her deliverables.
-Develops a thorough understanding of and adheres to OneNeck delivery processes and the processes of the Customer(s) he/she works on
-Works with the Consulting Services management to work according to standards for consultants delivering services in a given role and/or discipline.
-Is expected to supply Customer Management Team with ideas/opportunities for obtaining additional work within a given account.
-Supports the acquisition of new business by assisting with proposals, etc.
-This position is expected to assist management with internal areas of responsibility.
-This position is expected to be asked to lead technical and business related teams on project work under the direction of Customer Manager.
-Is expected to work with Customer Management to assist in managing customer tasks.
-Must provide timely project status reports as required by CMT and our customers.
-Must input time and expenses into the T&E system in a timely manner.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time.
-Ability to readily obtain a driver's license and passport, if not already in their possession.
-Ability to readily rent vehicles from all major car rental agencies.
-Ability to readily reserve and pay for airline tickets, hotel accommodations, car rentals and all other aspects of travel.

SKILLS NECESSARY:
-Gentran
-TLE
-ERP Experience (Baan, JDE, Axapta, Oracle, SAP)
-Unix knowledge a plus
-AS/400 knowledge a plus

EDUCATION:
-Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, computer science, business, engineering).

YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum seven years industry experience in one or more relevant disciplines.
-Minimum seven years experience with one or more software we support for our customers.
