Integration (EBI) practice designs, develops, tests, and implements complex event processing solutions that unlock the value of enterprise information. These solutions include middleware-enabled business process, applications, and system component integration within and across enterprises. Additionally, EBI focuses on assisting clients in developing the people, processes and architectures required to achieve and sustain Integration Excellence.
Sr. Consultants are involved in the design and implementation of custom, technology enabled business solutions. Sr. Consultants function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions. Responsibilities include, among others, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation. Sr. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. Sr. Consultants
demonstrate deep expertise with EAI tools, methodologies and frameworks. Sr. Consultants gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines within the practice while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.
Sr. Consultants must have:
- 6+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience.
- Experience participating in large-scale, full-life cycle Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) implementations within a management consulting environment. Must have hands-on technical experience with several of the following tools: MQ Series, SeeBeyond, Tibco, Vitria, WebMethods, IBM WebSphere, BEA Weblogic or Crossworlds.
- A strong Java and UNIX background is also required.
- Conversant in multiple EAI areas (Message Brokers, Messaging Middleware, Workflow, Business Process Management), have familiarity with executing one or more architecture Proof of Concepts, possess strong methodology understanding, and
have assisted in the design, development or testing of an technology integration project.
- Project Lifecycle experience. Lived a complete project from Scoping and planning requirements, through design, development, testing, and go live.
- Ability to manage small engagements and teams or parts of large engagements.
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented
- Exercises mature judgment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of team
- Willingness to mentor junior staff in technical areas
