Distillers Merchandiser / Dairy Consultant

The qualified individual will be responsible for heading up distillers grain sales in Central Wisconsin. This is a new position at Ace Ethanol; this individual will develop and maintain relationships with national brokers for distillers grains and will develop the customer base from the ground up. He/she will assist dairies and feed mills on feed formulation/ration formulation, provide technical support and educational programs for producers, and present nutritional information and advice at feeder meetings. This position is responsible for all feed compliance issues and inspections and will work with both state and federal agencies. Extensive local and some national travel required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
•BS Nutrition, Dairy or Animal Science (or Equivalent)
•5 years feed sales experience
•Experience calling on Central Wisconsin dairies.
•Ability to solve real day-to-day problems for dairies.
•Ability to develop, service and maintain customers.
•Ability to work effectively as a team member.
•Basic computer skills.
•Good communication and public speaking skills.
