Director of Recruiting
Centennial, Inc. has been retained by one of our Premier clients to identify an “A” player for the critical position of Director of Recruiting based in the Greater Cincinnati corporate headquarters of this well-known, established company in the professional services industry.
General Summary:The Director of Recruiting will be responsible for providing and establishing strategic direction in the areas of recruiting and staffing, as well as the development and management of recruiting initiatives, policies, practices and activities to acquire “best in class” talent for the company. The Recruiting Director will also be responsible for personally recruiting for positions at the executive and officer level.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities: Determines the recruiting and staffing strategy for the company, to include sourcing, marketing of positions and selection techniques.
Directs the efforts of the recruiting team to ensure the efficient placement of high quality staff for open positions. Ensures the attainment of standards set for timeliness, quality and cost of hire. Develops all recruiting policies and procedures and ensures adherence to the same. Establishes strong partnerships between the recruiting team, hiring managers and Human Resources. Establishes screening criteria and procedures for all positions. Effectively communicates the company’s value proposition to prospective candidates and strategic partners. Oversees the development of collateral materials designed to attract candidates from a wide variety of markets. Develops and maintains a database of high-potential candidates for key positions. Personally sources, screens and refers high-quality candidates for executive and officer positions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources or related field. 7+ years of proven recruiting experience including significant experience recruiting at the executive and senior management level. 5+ years of proven experience leading and developing a successful high-volume recruiting team.
Proven experience designing effective and creative recruiting strategies and utilizing best practices to source, attract, screen, and select top-quality candidates in a variety of functional disciplines. Thorough knowledge of employment laws governing the recruiting and hiring process. Demonstrated experience networking and building lasting relationships with individuals within and outside of the organization Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people at all levels and in a diverse range of settings.
Advanced ability to read candidates and select appropriate matches to open positions. A self-motivated, proactive and energetic individual with strong ability to problem-solve and provide innovative solutions Must be extremely professional and exhibit high morals, integrity, and strong character.
