DIRECTOR SURGICAL SERVICES
Manage the surgical services performance improvement program activities by establishing program timelines, budget, selecting team members, and design of program content and delivery methods. Lead existing performance and quality improvement programs and manage new program pilots and launch. Evaluate and communicate program status to team members and Clinical Performance and Operational Services leadership.
Will develop and deliver surgical process improvement related programs to members. Support the sales of Surgical services programs to members through interface with Area Offices and/or members. Provide oversight for other surgical services-related programs delivered through the Clinical Performance department. Will work with Measurement Team, Finance, Clinical Performance Vice President, Senior Director and Marketing to coordinate and participate in the evaluation of current surgical services programs for refinement and improvement opportunities.
Manage activities of contracted subject matter experts, vendors, business partners associated with Clinical Performance programs. Coordinate and lead Performance Improvement product development teams that include Quality, Service Delivery, Knowledge Management, and physician executives.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or Public Health preferred.
Minimum 10 years experience in directing patient care in an inpatient hospital operating room setting. Performance improvement experience preferred. Requires experience working with budgets, clinical performance, financial performance, supply chain management, and operational performance. Experience in development of quality or process improvement programs preferred. Understanding of performance/quality improvement methodologies.
