Direct Care Worker

Provide care and assistance to children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Job responsibilities include implementing consumers' Individual Development Plans and assisting/ training consumers in activities of daily living (ADLs), implementing therapeutic programs as directed by clinical staff, and administering medication and medical treatments as prescribed by medical staff. New to the field - don't worry - we provide constant and on-going training, both on-the-job as well as valuable certifications, such as CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration.

As these are 24 hour care positions, all days, hours and shifts are available. We have full-time, part-time and per diem, as well as overnight positions. All weekend and evening hours are paid a generous shift differential.
REQUIREMENTS
No experience required - only the desire to make a difference in someone's life.

H.S. Diploma preferred but not required - ability to read, write and speak in English is required.

Clean New York State Driver's license is required for most full-time positions.
