Our workforce is staffed with personnel who possess Top Secret/SCI security clearances with Polygraph.All positions are located in the Northern Virginia, Metropolitan DC areaLAN Support Specialist:Serves as the primary point of contact for all technical support issues. Responsible for supporting the customer workstation operating systems, standalone workstations, and supported corporate applications. Establishes and coordinates user accounts and access re-quests. Works with other technical support specialists to resolve and escalate service issues relating to network hardware and software. Participates in the installation of desktop hardware and peripherals, collecting, logging and implements technical requirements, task or-ders, problem troubleshooting and customer service support on all issues and problems related to the network and related elements. (i.e., Microsoft NT2000XP, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etcetera). The service desks are staffed during the core hours of 0 M-F, with non-core hour support being provided on an on-call basis via pager (including weekends and holidays).Requires:Formal training in the Microsoft Windows NTXP Operating System (desktop) and applied experience in pro-viding Windows NTXP LAN administration , support and troubleshooting. Formal training in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; applied experience in providing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel sup-port/troubleshooting. Lotus Notes training; applied experience in providing Notes support/troubleshooting. Formal Training or applied experience with the SRS Remedy problem tracking application, or similar problem management products.Applied experience in installing, configuring, and supporting Intel based personal computers. Applied experience in network and local printer installation and support. Applied experience in providing customer service/support. Applied experience as a LAN Support Spe-cialist or related occupation.Desired:Any of the following certificates: MCP,MCDST,MCSA,MCSE,CLS,CLP
