Land Development Department Manager

Lead technical, project management, financial, and marketing duties related to Department's civil/site design projects within the State of Georgia.

Duties will include; pricing, capture and management of land development projects; design oversight, agency interface and supervision of personnel, including directing and overseeing a small staff of Land Architect/Planner(s), junior engineers and CAD technicians.

Individual will be responsible for meeting client's expectations for schedule and quality of work, as well as profitability of projects and the Department overall.

Duties shall include staff development, management of daily activities, staff recruitment and general business development aspects.

Must possess good leadership skills, the ability to motivate employees as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

Individual must be interested in teaming and interacting closely with staff and high caliber clientele on complex projects and driven to provide 'value-added' component to engineering services in a challenging environment.


Special considerations: Project experience mix should include: 3 minimum, 4 or more preferred of the following: residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and or retail land development. Knowledge of local clients, agencies and processes a plus.

Software Expertise to include: AutoCad as a minimum.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum years of experience: 6 minimum, 10 or more preferred
Education/Registrations required: B.S. Civil Engineering/Georgia P.E. Registration
