Counsel

In this position, the individual will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of periodic reports and other general corporate and corporate governance matters. In addition, the ideal individual will assist with the company's M&A transactions, securities offerings and strategic investments.This position requires a BA/BS and JD from an ABA-accredited law school. The candidate must be a member of California State Bar and have a minimum of 6 years legal experience, at least 4 of which were at a large law firm. Strong preference will be given to candidates with in-house experience.The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
