Cost Management Consultant

Purpose: Aerotek Engineering is currently looking for a senior cost management analyst to provide subject matter expertise on Navy Budgets and processes to work in Crystal City, VA.

Candidates will be aiding in a portfolio restructuring effort and will be responsible for researching IT budget line items to establish cost visibility for IT and ultimately developing strategies to realign IT budgets under their appropriate Functional Area Managers (FAM).

Qualifications:

1. Candidate must be a subject matter expert on how Navy Budgets work.
a. NAVY IT budgeting is ideal but others may work such as personnel.
b. Expertise in the Program Budget Information Systems (PBIS).
c. Understanding of the risks associated with moving IT budget lines / funding around during certain time periods.

2. Strong Knowledge of Working Capital Funds and other alternatives to appropriations.

3. Candidates must have consulting experience.

4. Active Secret Security Clearance is a must.

5. B.S. or B.A. degree required.

This position comes with a salary of $70,000 - $115,000 depending upon experience.
