The Corporate/Contractor Recruiter is responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting services to VIPdesk’s home-based contact center division (VIP Customer Connect). This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, screening, interviewing and maintaining the full-lifecycle recruiting and on-boarding process of independent contractors and team members. This position delivers high quality professional incorporated contractors and advances the VIP Customer Connect high growth initiatives. A wide degree of creativity, near and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, project management, and personal organization is required. Flexible work schedule!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for managing Full-Life cycle recruiting and on-boarding process
Designs, implements, manages, and maintains recruiting process and strategy in accordance with company needs and goals including selection of appropriate tools and vendors, project management of on-boarding contractors and coordination with appropriate departments and team members;
Confers with hiring managers to identify needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments;
Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified home-based contractors;
Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the best contractors;
Creates and fosters relationships to attract and recruit qualified home-based contractors;
Reviews applications and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements;
Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to contractors about the company and position;
Prescreens contractors. Creates and presents pre-screening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval;
Manages and coordinates all communication with contractors;
Interviews all candidates applying for corporate positions.
Performs administrative HR functions such as
Employment verification
Compliance reporting
Assists with payroll
Manage employee and contractor recordkeeping
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
3 – 5 years experience managing full lifecycle recruiting. Experience in call center industry or within temp agencies preferred.
Advanced knowledge in all recruiting components including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
1-2 years experience working with independent contractors preferred.
Excellent project management skills. Project management experience preferred.
B.S. in Human Resources preferred.
Basic to working knowledge of HR practices and principles of employment law required
Excellent writing, and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to present and redesign new creative recruiting concepts.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email.
Must possess entrepreneurial spirit and “can do” attitude; and
Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal and security checks.
