Key responsibilities include:


Handling requests for Prior Authorization of prescriptions coming from providers


Contacting doctors directly to gather additional information


Making determinations for prescriptions case-by-case based on patient information and insurance coverage


Documenting all case information and decisions in our system


Transferring approved orders to pharmacy technicians for dispensing


Communicating with patients to answer questions and determine drug delivery methods

Job Requirements:

Only licensed Kansas Pharmacists will be considered for this role, and clinical residency program experience is preferred. Home health and specialty pharmacy experience would be ideal. Computer proficiency is essential, and a Bachelor's of Pharmacy or a PharmD is needed. New/recent graduates or interns in the field of Pharmacy may also be considered for this role.
