Consultant, System Engineering and Administration

Scootsdale Insurance is looking for a Consultant, System Engineering and Administration in thier Scottsdale, AZ. office.

Serves as an expert in hardware/software systems engineering.Undertakes the most complex projects requiring additional additional knowledge.Designs, delvelopes most hardware and software components, tools and utlities.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with the following:

-Redhat Enterprise Linux
- Solaris
- VMWare ESX
- Veritas Volume Manager
- Veritas Cluster Server
- DNS, E-Mail, LDAP
- UNIX programming (shell, Perl, awk, etc...)
- Enterprise backups
- Network-attached Storage
- SAN technologies
- TCP/IP, network troubleshooting, and mapping out application data-flows
- Experience with troubleshooting performance bottlenecks in UNIX, Linux, and SAN environments
- Vendor management

The candidate must have the ability to work autonomously on the above technologies, and/or come up to speed wherever necessary. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to function as the primary UNIX and SAN engineering resource and subject matter expert for multiple concurrent projects.
