Consultant-Rptg & Anlys (Mktg)
o Build queries to generate, analyze and distribute high quality reports for a region supporting multiple distribution channels.
o Identify efficient processes for the development of reports by working with channel directors and sales management team.
o Maintain an ongoing skills training program for report users and sales operations team including reporting sources and reporting availability.
o Work in conjunction with Area Finance, IT, and Regional support functions to design reports and develop Data Warehouse queries to address reporting gaps including automated reports for sales channels.
o Identify and recommend appropriate process owners to ensure ongoing integrity of data.
o Manage reporting calendar to ensure reports are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
o Leverage synergies with reporting contacts in other regions to create efficiencies.
Job Requirements
o Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred in Computer Science
o Minimum of 3-5 years experience in reporting, analysis, data warehouse programming
o Advanced skills required in EXCEL, ACCESS, SQL and programs such as Essbase, Hyperion, COGNOS Impromptu, COGNOS web reports, COGNOS power play, Queryman, etc.
o Expert database knowledge required to be considered for the position.
o Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation & communication skills.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
