Consultant-Data Sales
Performance Management: Evaluate sales teams' understanding of data products and services. Track data sales activity and disseminate new product updates throughout all sales channels. Develop customized training curriculums and conduct training sessions and product demonstrations during in-store visits. Ensure sales teams understand and can effectively demonstrate data products and services to grow market share and attain data sales objectives. Lead group training sessions and provide individual training as required.
Operations Management: Proactively identify issues that impact complex data-related sales. Act as subject matter expert to resolve escalated issues and makes recommendations on issues.
Customer Retention: Engage with sales teams to determine data solutions to meet individualized customer needs. Increase data pentration within assigned territories to drive data revenues.
Market & Industry Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of company and market promotional elements. Remain current on all wireless products and services, industry and competitive trends, and reinforce findings with team.
Job Requirements
2 years successful sales experience preferrred.
3-5 years of Sales, Marketing, Training, Customer Service experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical work experience.
Advanced technical certifications preferred.
Wireless experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of information technology required.
Prior successful sales track record, proven leadership ability and knowledge of wireless industry desired.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and oral and written presentation skills needed.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills are required.
Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required.
Ability to interact with and present to all levels.
This position requires the ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.
Must have valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance.
This position will be based out of Birmingham. The position will support the central Alabama retail district.
