Consultant Architects

Founded in 2001, JackBe is a rapidly growing, venture-funded software company supporting interactive web applications. We offer an exciting environment working with an important and quickly developing technology. We currently seek highly motivated and experienced Consultant Architects to join our Professional Services Group based in Washington, D.C. These positions help customers implement SOA/AJAX-based solutions leveraging JackBe's technology.

Key responsibilities include:
Analyze customers' business and technical environment to identify opportunities for SOA/AJAX.
Understand and analyze customers' business and technical requirements.
Analyze and articulate architecture & design approaches.
Provide technical leadership and coordination in development and integration effort.
Mentor customers' staff on product/technology expertise, and implementation of best practices.
Serve as a strong advocate of JackBe's vision, solution, and values to customers in presales.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong programming skills, in particular Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML and web.
Proven success in design and implementing complex enterprise applications.
Knowledge and real life experiences with n-tier software architecture, including SOA.
Experience with RUP and/or Agile software development methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good teamwork skills.
Demonstrated adaptability to a dynamic environment.
Real-life experience with AJAX, and other rich internet application technologies.
Knowledge, experience with Human-Computer interaction design and/or visual design/implementation.
Prior consulting experience (e.g. tech/team lead).
Demonstrated leadership experience and strong project management experience.
Active security clearance.
Flexibility to travel as necessary.
