As a Consultant, Applications Development, you will use effective technical and project management techniques. You will be part of a global support team that is responsible for developing objectives, strategies, and tactical plans for supporting the Global Clinical Database and its associate applications. It will be essential for you to identify and develop tactical options to manage risk and optimize the value of supporting clinical applications. You will focus on the eClinical suite of applications. Your responsibilities will include: handling trouble tickets from Service Center and Tech team; eClinical application support, including learning newer applications, technical/business understanding, knowledge transfer, system testing (OQ); project management/project release; and PL/SQL/Database related issue/work for all clinical applications.
Must have experience in investigating, triaging, and resolving complex technical issues; and have the ability to promote team spirit and work collaboratively to achieve team goals. Experience in development of web based applications using J2EE is required along with PL/SQL skills. J2EE technologies such as JSP, Servlets, JMS, XML with good knowledge of EJB security architecture and Web Services. Experience in Spring and Hibernate technology is a plus. Proven accomplishments in the area of web based application development. Must be familiar with design patterns and implementation techniques. Good understanding of OOP concepts, UML and inter network architecture.
This position requires a BS/MS with a minimum of 10 years experience in software development and/or support.
