Computer Consultant

We are a small growing company located in Ontario, CA is looking for several Computer Consultants who have the desire to take on responsibility and work in providing computer software and hardware support for our clients located in the Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Orange County area. Applicant will be assigned a coverage area based upon his or her home address that is within a 25 to 50 mile radius. The successful candidate will provide support for Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 servers for various clients, Microsoft Exchange email servers, high-speed Internet connectivity and Firewall security administration, and various 3rd party industry-specific applications (Manufacturing, Insurance, Real-Estate, Financial software).

REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to install, troubleshoot, and support all aspects of various Microsoft Windows operating systems such as Windows XP, 2000 & 98 including network connectivity, access to local and network printers, and access to local and network applications.

Project management and proposal writing skills a must. Prior experience in supporting the technology infrastructure of small to medium size business’s

Must be proficient in MS-Office products and have expertise in Word, Outlook and Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions that minimize a customer’s downtime while resolving technical issues is a must.

Familiarity with databases, contact management applications, and computer hardware peripherals (i.e. USB devices & Switches, CD-ROM burners, handheld devices, etc.) is a plus.

Must be a self-starter, service-oriented and willing to go the extra mile to service a customer.

Typing skills of at least 25 wpm.

Minimum requirement A+ Certification or any of the following; MCP, MCSE or Bachelor's degree-- computer information systems.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and relocation is not available for this position.
