Compliance Specialist Instructor

SEOT-SCAT incorporated in 1992 offers a wide array of services to help design and implement safety and compliance programs for businesses. More and more everyday, this field is growing and demanding.

Looking to further expand, SEOT-SCAT is looking for highly motivated, career-oriented compliance specialists for their Lafayette office.

As a Compliance Specialist your duties would be, but are not limited to:
Conducting monthly Safety Meetings
Training, Drug & Alcohol Testing
Company Audits
Inspections as well as maintaining Compliance Records

REQUIREMENTS
SEOT-SCAT offers medical, life, and short-long term disability paid by the company to the applicants that meet the following requirements:

Must be knowledgable in OSHA,DOT and MSHA and experience in training and instructing.
Must have knowledge with safety and training others.
Must be self-motivated and a good speaker.
Must also be willing to travel in and out of state.
Must have at least 1-5 year experience in the Safety field and
Must have basic computer skills
Must be able to lift max 40 lbs at times

Must be able to contact references

Experience in some type of construction trade to better relate with clients is a plus!

SEOT-SCAT works in a very team oriented environment, but will be required to work alone on jobs with support of co-workers available.
