City of Hampton APPRAISER I APPRAISER II APPRAISER III Assessment Office Full-time with Benefits Closing date: September 13, 2006 The City of Hampton is currently recruiting for Appraisers to appraise all types of real properties such as residential, commercial, and industrial for assessment purposes. The City offers an Appraiser series with a progressive, salary range of $34,946 to $72,712. Current position vacancies include: Appraiser I $34,946 - $56,813 Responsible for researching, collecting, analyzing, calculating, and preparing information to arrive at a fair and equitable appraisal of the value of residential and commercial real estate. Appraiser II $38,735 - $62,696 Performs complex real estate appraisals on land and residential and/or commercial, multi-family and industrial/warehousing buildings. Appraiser III $45,186 - $72,712 Performs the more complex real estate appraisals on land and residential and/or commercial, multi-family and industrial/warehousing buildings.
