The BearingPoint Chemical and Natural Resources Group is currently searching for a Chemicals & Natural Resources Supply Chain Management Manager

Location/s: National - -Relocation: Not providedThe Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager will act as the key subject matter expert in the area of SCM, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, and Manufacturing for Chemicals, Oil and Gas and Utilities. This person support clients to design, implement and support improved business processes, organizational models and IT solutions to sustain SCM initiatives. The candidate will be involved in both pre sales and post sales activity for additional business development. Top-performing team members do drive $2MM in net new consulting revenue; deliver quality and timely services that go beyond team and client expectations. Engagements will either be solution oriented, process oriented, or a combination of the two. This individual will be active in opportunity identification, proposal or solution demo preparation, and delivery. The expectations for exceptional client performance are for the person in this role to understand critical success factors for the client and client’s industry; Builds long-term relationships with key clients; Manages significant engagement tasks; Delivers timely and quality services that meet or exceed team manager’s and client’s expectations Ideas, suggestions, recommendations are made through regular interaction with the client engagement team.- 3+ years of Supply Chain Management consulting experience in the Chemical industry -- 5+ years of industry SCM experience across a range of disciplines including planning, logistics, procurement, and operations -- 3+ years experience with various advanced Supply Chain Management applications and tools

5+ years of direct customer interface experience -- Experience in applying the SCOR model to a customer’s supply chain

BS/Advanced Business Degree or equivalent experience - 3+ years of consultative experience in Supply Chain for the Chemicals industry

5+ years of hands-on Supply Chain Management work experience across a range of industries -- Proven ability to successfully lead small- to medium-sized SCM consulting teams and engagements -- Demonstrated ability to play significant role in proposal development -- Experience utilizing and implementing key elements of the SCOR model
5+ years industry experience-
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
National travel is required, between 60-100% with potential international travel (5%)
