Ceqa/Nepa Project Manager

Purpose: We are looking for a CEQA/NEPA Project Manager. Must be experienced in managing a range of CEQA projects for industrial clients and supervising multi-disciplinary teams. This position will be responsible for client management and senior-level project management, with opportunities for supervising other environmental professionals.

Candidates are required to have a Bachelors or Masters degree in planning, environmental studies, geography, natural resources, or a related field.

Responsibilities will include environmental document preparation, proposal writing, project budgeting, scheduling and invoicing review. Strong analytical, computer, writing skills, and a record of successful projects and effective working relationships with clients and regulatory agencies are also required.

The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in the preparation of CEQA and / or NEPA compliant environmental documents. Responsibilities include the management, preparation and processing of CEQA documents, quality assurance review of documents, management of project teams and subcontractors, and agency coordination. Experience in marketing and proposal preparation and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
