Care Advocate (MFT, LCSW, Ph.D) - Weekday schedule!

In this telephonic position, you would manage mental health and substance abuse benefits for CA while enjoying a wonderful work/life balance with no on-call and no nights or weekends!



*Monday through Friday 8am-5pm schedule*Primary responsibilities include:

Managing all facility-based care

Maintaining a case load that includes inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient

Performing concurrent review

Entering all information into the system and utilizing the benefit structure appropriately

Utilizing clinical skills to direct members to the appropriate level of care

Answering incoming calls for initial admissions/pre-certification

Job Requirements:

The chosen candidate must be a currently-licensed MFT, LCSW, or PhD in California. Demonstrated clinical experience is required. Hospital experience is preferred. Some computer proficiency is necessary, and excellent communication skills are a must.
