CAMPUS RECRUITING MANAGER
Position Overview:
Manage campus relationships with faculty, career centers and students for colleges and universities for undergraduate and graduate programs. Provide innovative ideas and approaches to talent acquisition that will differentiate the company from competitors on campus for intern and full-time hiring needs.
Main Responsibilities and Functions:
Front line contact for all issues relating to campus recruiting. Acts as an internal consultant to HR Coverage and business units to ensure that overall effort is successful at attracting talent to the company including developing strategies to recruit a diverse candidate pool. Manage employee referrals generated from campus recruiting initiative.
Work with HR Coverage and business leaders to determine recruiting strategy and ensuring appropriate level of priority is given to efforts including senior level involvement, resources and focus. Work closely with line HR Coverage and management to determine appropriate targets for hiring.
Ensure that appropriate marketing and advertising is coordinated aligned with Morgan Stanley Firmwide campus recruiting strategy and efforts. Includes coordinating campus and recruiting calendars, advertising, event sponsorship, and on-campus events to ensure that the company brand and image is consistently applied in all recruiting activities. Manage related campus budgets as required.
Cultivate relationships with college placement offices, faculty, students, alumni associations and professional student organizations to assist in overall recruiting activities at target schools.
Participate in recruitment projects including summer intern orientation, appraisal process development, as well as candidate and client surveys. Stay current on best practice developments within campus recruiting.
Manage campus recruiter team. Lead company resources within business units responsible for campus recruiting. Liaise with the Learning & Development Team and the business units on the development of training programs. Help to coordinate mentor program as required. Manage relationships with relevant national campus recruiting programs [Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), INROADS, etc.]
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Five to seven years of recruiting experience or related HR experience
Demonstrated leadership ability
Successful project management skills
Ability to multi-task in dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlinesStrong communication and presentation skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Strong computer skills
May require travel up to 25% of timeDESIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
At least 2 years of campus recruiting experience within overall experience
Demonstrated management experience
PHR/SPHR certification
