Job Description:
The Campus Recruiting Assistant is responsible for planning and executing recruiting strategy. The Campus Recruiting Assistant supports an Ernst & Young recruiting business unit in various customer-service aspects of the recruiting process specific to campus recruiting. The Campus Recruiting Assistant supports recruiters with coordinating and managing candidate interviews and services candidates and recruiting personnel in other aspects of the recruiting process, including event planning (i.e., campus activities, job fairs, and internship program activities). This role requires internal and external-facing relationships at the campus level.Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of campus recruiting strategy, including identifying creative approaches to campus recruiting.Participate in candidates' selection and relationship-building processes.Liaise with campus career services offices; manage communications.Group candidates for on-campus interview schedules.Organize/execute final candidate selection processes and communications.Plan and manage office visit processes.Determine interviewer lists for campus group office visits.Plan and execute campus events, including the firm's Internship and Summer Leadership Programs.Liaise with client service teams.Perform office visit troubleshooting.Maintain the firm-wide online calendar of campus events.Liaise with the firm's national marketing/branding teams for strategy and messaging.Develop specific, branded collateral for Area/practice needs.Manage recruiting merchandise (including display panels).Become proficient in the firm's applicant tracking system in order to update candidate status after an on-campus interview.Become proficient in the firm's Event Planning Information Center (EPIC) and other recruiting databases.Assist with the validation of I-9 documentation and the collection of new hire documentation.Ernst & Young LLP, an equal opportunity employer, values the diversity of our work force and the knowledge of our people.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a Bachelor's degree is required 2-4 years of work experience in a corporate environment HR or recruiting-related experience a plus an exceptional customer service focus the ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build rapport and leverage networks strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles, as well as changing work environments/priorities Lotus Notes proficiency and experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems a plus PC proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
Some travel to specific events, as necessary, is also required.
