CONTRACT RECRUITER

PrideStaff is a national staffing firm that specializes in temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire staffing all around the Phoenix Metro area. Our client is a mutual fund/investment company located in the Scottsdale area.

The position of recruiter is responsible for the successful sourcing, screening, interviewing, and tracking of employees for positions within the company. The position works directly with Department Managers and works within a recruitment team. This is a contract position.

Main Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for scheduling appointments, pre-screening applicants, sourcing resumes, and posting open requisitions.
-Works with staffing/employment agencies to coordinate interviews
-Will act as the liaison between the company and candidates
-Will assist managers in hiring decisions
-Responsible for Cold calling/networking with potential candidates
-Attends job fairs, open houses, college recruiting, etc.
-Other duties include consulting with team managers, understanding the skills needed and participating in the final candidate selection process.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Skills/Education/Experience:
-BA/BS degree in a related field with an emphasis on Human Resources, or equal work experience
-2-4 years experience in high-volume recruiting
-Proven track record in researching and successfully recruiting candidates using executive search methods.
-Thorough knowledge of state and federal labor laws and guidelines including EEO.
-Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
-Experience using applicant tracking systems
