CMMI Consultant, Senior

Key Role: Provide technical leadership for CMMI initiatives for government and commercial clients and internal Booz Allen systems and software development teams and the achievement of their process improvement goals. Develop and deploy processes and perform process-based appraisals. Coach and mentor projects teams during deployment to ensure successful implementation. Prepare and present training in project management, engineering, and support functions to build understanding for the development and implementation of processes. Prepare and present briefings to the senior leadership of corporations and key Booz Allen staff. Maintain responsibility for planning, organizing, and participating in tasks and projects and assure the quality of client deliverables. Work with the senior leadership teams to set strategies and goals. Guide and prepare proposals and briefings to sell process improvement consulting services.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with systems or software development

-10+ years of experience with project management of systems or software projects

-5+ years of experience with systems and software process improvement

-5+ years of experience with management consulting, including some process improvement consulting

-Experience with leading SCAMPI appraisals

-Experience with systems or software process improvement program implementation

-Knowledge of various industry models and standards, including CMMI, ISO, and ITIL

-BA or BS degree



Additional Qualifications:

-Authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser and PMP Certification preferred
