Consumer Markets Division (CMD)
This position designs, develops, implements, and supports compensation and incentive programs ensuring external competitiveness and internal equity. Conceptualizes, designs, and structures financially sensitive compensation and incentive programs that are strategic business enablers. Involves partnering with senior leadership to understand strategic direction, business needs/drivers, and financial goals. Will be required to independently research and document feasibility, structure, and methodology of new programs. Will maintain knowledge of current market compensation and incentive trends. Responsible for leading the design and implementation of large scale, division wide projects impacting multiple locations and employee groups. Provides expertise and consulting to line management and to the human resource staff on complex compensation and incentive practices and future trends. Develops and delivers presentations and training to groups including senior leadership on compensation and incentive topics including philosophies, policies, and procedures. Acts as a compensation representative to the field and a field representative to compensation. Coaches and mentors other team members. Participates on corporate project teams to enhance Countrywide’s human resource service offerings and provide CMD insight.Requirements:

4-year college degree (Bachelor or equivalent).

An in-depth compensation knowledge and the ability to apply knowledge to achieve strategic business objectives.

Ability to make sound decisions taking into consideration cultural and environmental conditions. - Demonstrated ability to understand and support business drivers, strategies and principles in total reward recommendations and solutions.

Must be able to apply internal and external industry knowledge, including competitive understanding of jobs and labor markets, to achieve strategic business objectives.

Skilled in the ability to relate abstract concepts, ideas, policies, and philosophies.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate facts as well as abstract information, issues or processes to determine innovative solutions.

Interpersonal skills and attributes that cultivate a broad range of relationships creating credibility, trust and respect.

Achieves mutually beneficial solutions through negotiation, influence and compromise.

Proven track record in leveraging and utilizing talent and resources in support of total reward programs.

7+ years in Human Resources Compensation or Finance field.
