CISCO Engineer - CCNA/CCNP - 75% Travel

Purpose: TEKsystems in Tulsa, Oklahoma is in need of 1-2 Cisco Engineers for a client in Tulsa. Please see below for a full description.

Technical Environment:

Microsoft environment (NT,2000), Cisco, Novell, TCP/IP, Routing protocols, spanning tree, NTP, VTP, NAT, HSRP, NetBIOS

Position:

Cisco Engineer

Job description:

The consultant will be responsible for design, install and maintenance of highly redundant Cisco, Novell, and Windows NT/2000 network infrastructure at the many airports the client has contracts with. They will also be responsible for the network design, upgrades and migrations at the various locations with no down time. Must be able to do network design and install budgets from RFPs (request for proposals). At times they may need to teach hardware courses to local admin personnel on site.


Travel required:

Yes. 75% travel is required. Internationally and nationally. Candidate must have a passport and a credit card to handle initial cost of food and some travel.
