Business Technology Advisor

By combining your talent with our strength, we can achieve great results.Your job is to drive the Firm’s Wealth Management process and other initiatives by consulting with Financial Advisors (FA) and other branch personnel to help them effectively integrate technology into their business, thereby increasing productivity, asset growth, and improving client service. This is accomplished primarily in a “remote” environment (located at a domestic UBS Branch location) by leveraging all available communication tools and training technology that is used in place of a face-to-face session. You position technology as a sales driver in all communications and interactions. You act as spokespeople for the platform. You analyze individual FA business plans to identify appropriate tools and resources. You partner with FA and Branch Managers to determine a process for implementing these tools into the business. You collaborate with Divisional/Regional Sales and Product teams to drive specific focuses, goals, and support the ongoing cultural changes of the firm and the business overall. You are integral to the recruiting process as a partner with Branch Managers to present UBS technology to FA recruits by illustrating its potential impact on their specific business. You introduce new concepts/technology and their link to the Firm’s Wealth Management process. You liaise between field personnel, home office business, and systems development to represent the “voice” of the user. You make enhancements and changes made based on their feedback. You conduct client presentations and seminars to showcase the benefits of the Firm’s technology capabilities. You establish regular contact with Branch Managers and the Branch Management team, FA, Client Service Associates (CSA), as well as multiple product and sales people. You work autonomously as well as in a team environment. You oversee activities and development of branch personnel in use of critical applications for approximately 30-40 branches. You manage and communicate training and branch events schedule.Preferred Qualifications:You possess your Series 7 registered. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:You are a college graduate with a degree in Finance, Education, Marketing, or equivalent/related fields. You have a minimum of five years relevant financial industry experience. You have advanced interpersonal, communication (both oral and written). and presentation skills. You interpret complex sales concepts/questions and provide appropriate solutions. You possess product and technical knowledge. You have knowledge of Remote Learning tools and technology (i.e. PlaceWare).
