Business System Analyst

Business Systems Analyst Works with business unit to gather and document user requirements and
specifications, for current and future projects. Is able to work on medium
sized projects independently.



Required to perform various types of analyses based on project requirement.



Essential Job Functions:

Analyze business problems

Document user requirements

Understand infrastructure/development environment

Participate in Cost-Benefit Analysis

Perform assigned tasks with little supervision

Manage small to medium projects with direction

Complete applicable SDLC documents to initiate potential projects

Function as liaison to customers on assigned projects

Create applicable analysis specifications and documents

Conduct customer interviews to gather requirements and document
business processes

Prepare Gap Analysis

Skills-Training-Qualifications

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff

Critical thinking and problem solving ability

Able to gather and understand the big picture

Strong organizational skills

Familiarity with UML or other analysis and design methods

Work effectively both independently and as a team member

Basic ability to understand, set, and manage customer expectations






Seeking, mortgage, financial industry related experience.
