Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Manager

Our client, a large Cleveland based company, is in need of an individual who will have responsibility for interfacing with the user community to gather business intelligence and data warehouse requirements to determine infrastructure requirements. They will manager the technical staff for implementation of projects following documented project management processes and best practices within a complex environment.

The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Developing linkage with the cross business users to document needs, structure solutions and identify/implement process improvement where needed.
Management of daily Data Warehouse operations.
Managing user expectation.
Documenting and delivering application development standards.
Managing quality of deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree preferably in Computer Science. MBA and certifications are a plus .
Experience with Project Management and Data Warehouse Methodologies. Certifications are a plus.
Must have success analyzing business requirements across departments/business functions and managing implementation of projects identified.
Knowledge of industry standard ETL and BI development tools, preferably Cognos, Oracle, and Informatics.
Prior management experience including outside resources, contractors, and vendors.
Proven success hiring a team, implementing a mentoring/training program, creating departmental career paths for the team.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven leadership skills.
Ability to deliver projects on-time, within budget.
