The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the client to gather, analyze and document business needs and system requirements. The analyst must be able to work closely with software development resources to help translate the business functionality into technical specifications for the system. The analyst will also actively participate in the testing process to ensure the business functionality is implemented as anticipated.Responsibilities:1.Actively work with client to analyze business needs, gather and document business and system requirements
2.Develop and maintain information and documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems
3.Lead and facilitate project teams through requirements and analysis sessions
4.Producing documentation using UML and use cases
5.Assisting the technical team in understanding and developing the appropriate functionality
6.Participating in design review to ensure the integration of all requirements
7.Liaison between the Business and development groups
8.Reviewing/Analyzing Test Scripts and Data to ensure Functional Requirements have been coveredPosition-specific Requirements:
1.3-5 years of requirements development and management experience
2.Experience with some Requirements Management tool is required (Preferably Rational)
3.Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to effectively gather and manage requirements in Use Cases
4.Experience with a structured application development methodology such as Rational Unified Process (RUP)
5.Experience with analyzing and documenting business and system processes
