Business Analyst-Commercial Operations Systems

Supports all business systems primarily used by the commercial operations department, particularly business analysis support for all functional aspects of the risk systems as well as the up and downstream systems that directly touch these systems. Specifically, this position provides business support for the following applications: • Structure nMarket, which is the primary interface between the company and the PJM, ISO-NE, NYISO energy markets. This includes support for the Data Analysis Tool (DAT). • Sungard’s ZaiNet application, the primary energy trading and risk management system for the company • Allegro, a secondary energy trading system for the company • ABB Ranger, the energy management system used for dispatch of plants in the ERCOT, CAISO ISO regions, as well as for control of the distribution systems in LA • OSI Monarch, the energy management system used for dispatch of plants in the NYISO, ISO-NE, and PJM ISO areas • The company’s custom ETL and data warehousing tool, which handles the flow of realized transaction data into the ZaiNet risk accounting application • The company’s custom market operating system, which supports trading and real-time data in the ERCOT region • The company’s custom ISO pricing datamart • Additional systems covering Availability Reporting, Fuel Supply, Dispatch, Load Forecasting, Market Analysis, Market Data, Pricing Data, Real-time Operational Data, Real-time Pricing Feed, Trading, and Weather Data.
