Business Analyst-Asset Management

Purpose:
Our client is a powerful leader in investment banking and global financial services and is seeking a Business Analyst consultant in Prime Brokerage. You will be an integral team member and an active participant in process improvement across all workstreams. Consultants are compensated at professional day rates.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for a variety of business analysis tasks including gathering and documenting business processes and data requirements; defining and recommending business process improvements; developing detailed designs and documentation for solutions; documenting of business constraints and assumptions; assessing training and documentation requirements; creation of user testing strategies, plans, scripts, etc. and participating in test execution; identifying project issues/risks and recommending solutions; the development of project timelines and scope; defining and documenting project deliverables; all other tasks related to business analysis from conception to implementation.

To be qualified for this position, you should have at least 5 years of complete business analysis or project management experience in Asset Management or institutional Hedge Fund banking. You also need to have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Excellent MS Office skills including strong Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access skills are required. You must also possess exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication, and project management skills.
