Our unique approach and proprietary technology platform allows employers to lower their costs while employees get more choice and control over their health insurance.We are rapidly building a team of dedicated professionals in Atlanta, Georgia who share our passion to establish relationships with hundreds of companies and thousands of individuals by leveraging their experience in health insurance, customer service and technology. The current health insurance system no longer works for many employers and employees. Become part of the team that is changing lives by providing a better alternative.The Benefit/Market Specialist has primary responsibility for supporting our relationships with individual medical insurance carriers. This support includes, but is not limited to, researching plan offerings and underwriting practices, matching those offerings with employee profiles and enabling the application and underwriting process using our proprietary technology platform. This team member will provide product expertise to the technology and communications specialists as we further enhance our platforms. Ability to quickly grasp product differentiators and current carrier processes a must. There is opportunity for this person to expand their responsibilities to include management of a team of Carrier Specialists as the Company expands.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Become the resident expert on various carrier products and their underwriting / application processes
Expand relationships with carrier representatives to better understand how we can be mutually successful
Provide expertise to technology team and communications team
Enable smooth execution of underwriting and application process REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree
Exceptional Relationship Management Skills
Strong Analytical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
3-5 years of Benefits experience required
Medical Underwriting experience preferred
