Benefits Consultant (Field) - Band 3Position description:1. Provide benefits advisement based on Associate Opinion Survey scores for all Wal-Mart divisions through established vehicles.2. Due to negative media attention and specific needs for our facility management teams to have a better understanding of how to explain our benefits package, this associate must travel to locations 2-3 weeks per month. Associate will also support Level 3 activity for the Labor Relations team and support government relations on benefits related issues. They are also required to support internal training (IMPACT).3. Associate is required to gather and analyze multiple sources of data, including the Associate Opinion Survey relative to each facility visited.4. Associate must be able to format, write, and maintain benefits presentations and training modules.5. Associate must provide quick follow up on all issues received during travel to facilities-benefits issues and open doors. Report issues outside of benefits to the appropriate areas.6. Associate will develop benefits communication strategy by area of the company in order to determine the best communications vehicles for benefits information to be delivered to field associates.7. Associate will surface service issue improvements, analyze root cause of the issue, support implementation of service improvements within benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:1. Ability to travel 2-3 weeks per month.2. Excellent presentation skill with up to two years of presentation and facilitation experience.3. People skills - must be able to respond to benefits, HR issues, and advise management teams on ways to handle benefits communications/issues.4. Organization and follow up skills. Must be able to prepare reports and manage projects while in the field.5. Must be able to make quick decisions with attention to detail.6. Associates or bachelor's degree, benefits background (certifications) or HR Professional.Preferred Requirements:1. Benefits, policy, and operations knowledge.2. Create and update presentations and training modules. Multi-media knowledge is helpful.3. HR background.
